Spaghetti Bolognese

First of all, sorry for the lack of posts recently! I have been really busy and am scared and excited at the same time to move to France soon!

Back to this dish: a classic all of us know, this version is the fast studenty version I'd say (if I make fancy spag bol it would take between 2-3 hours, this one about 30 minutes) and I hope you'll like it :)

Ingredients (for 6 portions I'd say, you can use as many veggies as you like)

500 g of minced meat
onions
garlic
800 g - 1000 g of chopped tomatoes
carrots
courgettes
mushrooms (if you like)
celery (if you like)
basil
oregano
salt and pepper
tomato puree
olive oil
spaghetti
parmesan

Chop up all the vegetables and start frying the onions and the garlic in a shot of olive oil. Once softened, add in the minced meat and fry it till it is brown. Add the tomato puree (about 3 tablespoons) and the carrots. After a couple of minutes add the other vegetables as well (you might want to use a big saucepan for this by this point) and add the chopped tomatoes. Season with basil and oregano, as well as salt and pepper (you could also season the meat beforehand). Start boiling the spaghetti at this point and wait unil they are al dente, in the mean time just let the sauce bubble away :) Sprinkle some parmesan over the top if you like, then - enjoy!
