Puff Pastry Rolls

These puff pastry rolls are a perfect little party snack, enjoyed by literally everyone, as you can vary the fillings a lot. Also, they're the easiest things to make :) I have done them with ham and cheese, and two different pesto fillings, have a look below:

Ingredients

puff pastry (sheets)
crème fraîche
ham
cheese (cheddar)
red pesto
green pesto
mozzarella

For the ham and cheese ones, roll out the puff pastry and spread some crème fraîche on top. Cut the ham into small pieces and grate the cheese. Place both on the puff pastry and spread out evenly. Start rolling the puff pastry inwards from both sides (the long ones) until you have formed a "snail" shape. Cut into 1.5 cm thick (or less if you prefer) slices and place on a baking tray lined with baking paper. Bake in the oven for 10-15 minutes at 180° C, depending on how brown you like them.

For the pesto version, roll out the puff pastry and spread the pesto on top. Cut the mozzarella into small pieces and lay onto the puff pastry. Enjoy :)
